Internal Communications Coordinator
Are you a dynamic Communications Coordinator with specific experience in internal communications?
Prospectus is delighted to support a leading homelessness charity to recruit their new Internal Communications Coordinator, who will coordinate and promote effective channels across the organisation.
Working closely with the Internal Communications Manager, day to day duties will include developing the intranet system and other internal communications channels,promoting the embedding of good internal communications best practise, and increasing staff engagement particularly relating to events and staff conferences. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with internal stakeholders such as clients and volunteers. The successful candidate will work closely with the Internal Communications Manager to deliver their strategic goals leading to monitoring and evaluation of successful projects. In addition, you will act as the point of contact for enquiries, providing training to staff as well as leading on organising staff conferences and events where required.
To be considered it is essential to have previous experience within an Internal Communications role, coordinating and delivering internal communications objectives. Previous experience should include overseeing offline and online internal communications channels, knowledge of content managing organisational messaging, specifically through a staff intranet, and measuring effectiveness and monitoring best practise and procedures. You are required to have experience of managing events, workshops and conferences with the ability to build proactive relationships. An understanding of digital technologies such as WordPress, Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
