Support Worker Adviser / Care Adviser
Join their team: you’ll take on dementia together
Our client is the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.
Position: Dementia Advisor
Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire
Contract type: Full time, Permanent
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £20,345 actual per annum
Closing date: 21 February 2019

About the role:
The Dementia Adviser service operates across the whole of Gloucestershire & provides specialist dementia information, advice & support to anyone living with dementia in the County. It is an integral part of the Gloucestershire Dementia pathway working closely with GP practices & the Memory Assessment service.
About you:
This is a non-medical role & they would provide the successful candidate with a comprehensive mix of dementia training & peer support from their existing highly experienced team. They are looking for someone who has an empathic and caring nature who has had experience of providing professional signposting & support to a large caseload of clients. They want someone who share the values of their organisation & who want to be a part of a well-established hardworking team who are focused on making a positive difference in the lives of people living with dementia.
