About the role:

We are looking for someone to provide support and supervision to staff based within the Integrated Crisis Response Service (ICRS) during out-of-hours and at weekends as part of its 24-7 service provision. You will ensure performance management runs at the heart of the service underpinned by effective operational policies and procedures whilst working in partnership with Adult Social Care and Health.

Responsibilities:

- Co-ordinate the activities of the team out-of-hours including weekends and evenings to ensure seamless service provision at all times
- Directly manage, support and develop the ICRS Co-ordinators, ICRS Night Assistants and the ICRS Team Support Worker (approximately 9 staff)
- Attend daily multi-disciplinary meetings
- Carry out observations within the ICRS systems work environment
- Ensure daily / weekly performance management information is readily available
- Work alongside all key partners by maintaining effective relationships to help influence positive change for the service and its users
- Take responsibility for all cases that fail to leave the service in line with their discharge date by challenging partners and ensuring a robust discharge plan is in situ

About you:

- In depth knowledge and experience within health and / or social care relevant to the running of regulated service
- Detailed practical knowledge of Care Act and Care Quality Commission legislation, guidelines and policy sufficient to give advice to support staff
- Experience of working within health and or social care at a senior practitioner level sufficient to develop / improve / working practices / procedures / guidelines / policy and / or to adapt them to meet individual circumstances
- Experience of communicating management, statistical or technical progress and information in presentations, proposals, reports and e-mails / memos
- Experience of managing and developing a team of health or social care staff
