Hours: 35 hours per week

Working pattern: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Guide Dogs’ ambition is a future where every person with sight loss has the confidence and support to live their lives to the full. We are recruiting for our Head of Brand to lead and manage the evolution of the Guide Dogs brand identity in light of our new 5-year strategy.  

About the role:

In this role you will:

  • Lead the development of the Guide Dogs brand strategy to underpin the new 5-year strategy to be more compelling, engaging and relevant to wider and diverse audiences.
  • Lead a programme of insight and analysis that ensures the organisation to provide ongoing continuous support to people with sight loss, their support networks and communities.
  • Lead and manage the Design Studio to deliver high quality communications that bring the Brand to life
  • Introduce new ways of working to develop the culture and skills needed across the organisation to enable the creation and sharing of high quality content.
  • Lead on Brand Campaign and Marketing Planning – building on learnings from econometric modelling, implement brand campaigns which improve brand awareness in terms of spontaneous reach and saliency.

Requirements include;

  • Ability to analyse and evaluate complex information to provide ‘’thought leadership’’ and make strategic decisions
  • Proven experience developing brand strategies and implementing multi-channel activity at scale, that delivers proven ROI.
  • Managing multimillion-pound marketing budgets
  • Managing designers and creatives to produce compelling content.
  • A proven track record of leadership and senior management in a large organisation
  • Understanding and experience of managing online activity and the Digital channel.
