Job Title:  Head of Care Operations

Employer: Ben (Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund)

Salary: £60,000 - £65,000 

Hours:  Full time/ permanent

Location:  Ascot, Berkshire

We are working in partnership with Ben (Motor and Allied Trades Benevolent Fund), an independent charity.  Their purpose is to provide support for life to the people of the automotive industry and their family dependants with a focus on the four pillars of peoples’ health and wellbeing: financial, physical, mental and social.   Everyone who works, or has worked, in the automotive industry can access the confidential, free support services for themselves and their family dependants. Ben also provides high quality care for those in later life at excellent care centres or in their own homes and, for the more independent, at Ben’s award-winning retirement village. Ben creates strong and lasting bonds with those it helps, those who support Ben and everyone within the organisation. Ben is now seeking to appoint a Head of Care Operations to provide strategic and operational oversight to the organisation’s three Care Centres and Day Centre.  With a strong focus on clinical and regulatory compliance, you will assume the roles of Nominated Individual for CQC and organisational Clinical Lead.   You will bring clinical and social care leadership experience to the role to ensure services deliver the highest quality of residential and nursing care to residents whilst ensuring continuous improvement across all the residential care settings.  The successful individual will be RGN or RMN qualified and will demonstrate experience of:

• Successfully managing a health/or social care service(s), in the position of Registered Manager or above
• Successful Clinical Management/Leadership
• Change management and leadership
• Leading, managing, coaching and developing a large team to deliver high quality care services to customers in care settings
• Experience of setting and monitoring budgets
• Knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practice.
