We are looking to recruit two Programme Managers to join our Funding Team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with the ability to identify, establish and coordinate strong partnerships that make a significant impact on health and wellbeing.

We are an independent, place-based foundation. We work with Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and others to improve the health of people in the London boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark.

Our boroughs are exciting places but they’re also two of the UK’s most deprived areas. We focus our efforts here, working with anyone who can help us develop new approaches to health, and sharing what we learn with others facing similar challenges.

We tackle the major health challenges affecting people living in urban, diverse and deprived areas.

We want to make a step change impact on major health issues affecting people in the London boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark. In the process, we aim to learn about what works to enable health in urban, diverse and deprived communities, and use those lessons to have impact nationally and beyond.

To help us achieve these goals, we are looking to recruit two Programme Managers to join our Funding Team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with the ability to identify, establish and coordinate strong partnerships that make a significant impact on health and wellbeing.

Programme Managers make up the engine room of our Funding Team. They support Programme Directors to design programmes through deskbased research and stakeholder conversations. They then lead on identifying suitable project partners, and managing the Charity’s relationship with these partners in support of the programme.

Opportunities for partnership will be sourced from a broad range of areas including local authorities, formal health services, the voluntary and community sector, social enterprises and private ventures.

The funding team takes a ‘matrix’ style working approach – where Programme Managers will work on projects across our issue-based programmes.

Our team is multidisciplinary, bringing different perspectives to our work. Therefore, we are open to applications from a range of backgrounds, such as technology, design, and professional services.

We aim to develop our Programme Manager team to gain the capabilities to operate at Programme Director level, to support progression through the organisation when vacancies arise.
