Lead Manager (Complex Needs)
Our client is a London-based charity that helps homeless and vulnerable people to find decent homes, build supportive relationships and lead fulfilling lives. As an organisation, they deliver services across London as part of a coordinated approach to improve access to advice, support, treatment and accommodation, assisting people to live independently and improve their health and wellbeing. They are currently looking to recruit a Lead Manager on an interim basis, to lead a team in providing the highest quality of support to vulnerable service users.
As Lead Manager, you will be based at our client's largest hostel in Lambeth, which provides high-support accommodation to 69 former street homeless people. Here, you will be responsible for leading a team in ensuring that vulnerable service users receive the highest standard of support. You will be responsible for devising workshops, producing and reviewing any local policies, and maximising user involvement and personalisation.
To succeed as Lead Manager you will need to demonstrate the necessary skills and expertise to manage and lead staff. You will have significant experience of working with people with high support, complex needs and will possess the ability to manage and sustain relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Experience of managing significant budgets is essential as is an understanding of the needs of homeless people based either from personal or professional experience.
