Programme Manager: Causes and Campaigns
£40,029 - £47,653 per annum pro rata
21-28 hours (3 or 4 days) per week
Fixed-term until December 2017
Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.
Unicef UK is currently implementing a new way of focusing our work on thematic priorities, which we are calling 'causes'. This means integrating our communications, advocacy and fundraising efforts and focusing them on important outcomes for vulnerable children.
We are seeking an exceptional Programme Manager to co-ordinate this work and help us establish a programme management approach across Unicef UK. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker with experience of developing and leading transformational change programmes in large and complex organisations.
You will be instrumental in shaping how we deliver our new strategy and will be passionate about Unicef’s mission. You will be able to communicate and influence at all levels of the organisation and have the ability to develop, deliver and provide effective governance of programmes.
Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.
Closing date: 5pm, Thursday 23 March 2017.
Interview date: Monday 3 April 2017.
We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.
The successful candidate will be required to apply for a Basic Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.
