Halifax Opportunities Trust, a highly regarded and successful anti-poverty charity is looking for a creative and strategically thinking Group Finance Manager to lead a small team within a much larger organisation.

As a strategic, yet approachable leader, you will offer financial direction across the many aspects of the Trust. The successful candidate will be accountable for systems, processes and procedures relating to budgeting and finance. This is a role that has been developed in order to streamline all financial aspects of the organisation. This is a hugely exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Finance Manager open to a fresh challenge and eager to grow within an organisation which will allow them to flourish.

Successful applicants will be qualified accountants (ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA etc.) and possess experience of financial management within a charity setting. Ability to communicate effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders is key as well as managing complex income and expenditure streams.

You will be employed by Halifax Opportunities Trust, based at their subsidiary business centre, The Elsie Whiteley Innovation Centre in Halifax with excellent transport links to Manchester, Leeds and Bradford.
