Head of Income Generation (full or part time)
This is a brand new role within a national charity which provides financial education, information and advice to young people and adults throughout the UK.
The Money Charity works with all parts of the financial services industry to improve practice and outcomes for their consumers; and influences and informs policymakers, the media, the industry and the wider public.
We are looking for a professional who brings a demonstrable track record of success in identifying new business opportunities across the public, private and voluntary sectors, swiftly developing robust, realistic and well researched pipelines to secure sustainable income streams.
Ideally you will have both commercial and not for profit sector experience which will have equipped you with sound knowledge of securing funds from a wider range of sources including trusts, foundations, companies, major donors, social enterprises etc.
Either way you will need to be both strategic and hands on, commercially minded, adept at relationship building, and skilled in spotting and maximising upon opportunities for collaborative working, partnership building and vitally, income generating.
This role is pivotal to the income generation activities of the charity as it enters a new chapter. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive you will sit firmly on the top team. You will have the opportunity to develop this role as your own and be responsible for devising, implementing and integrating the income strategy across the charity (marketing, communications and operations staff).
