At ActionAid we are working hard to provide sustained improvements to the poorest and most excluded people in the world. Our Philanthropy and Partnerships Team raises funds from major donors, charitable trusts and corporates to support amazing projects and activities around the world.
The Team are now looking for a Project Information Officer to help deliver ambitious revenue targets. It is a great opportunity to get involved in a major international NGO and experience a truly collaborative work environment.
As Project Information Officer you will help prepare compelling programme materials and key communications to inspire and inform high value and corporate donors as well as charitable trusts. This will involve gathering content, sourcing images and writing case studies as well as human interest stories that illustrate our work and projects.
You will produce regular updates for stakeholders too. We will look to you to build up a knowledge base and improve the team’s knowledge management systems and processes. You will also help share learning, review ways of working and identify improvements to ensure the team operates as effectively as possible.
You must have excellent written communication skills and a proven track record in producing high quality written materials for a varied audience. You will be experienced at translating technical programme information into compelling supporter communications and your eye for detail is matched by high levels of accuracy.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment, you will demonstrate the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload as well as meet tight deadlines too. You will also be effective at building relationships and working as part of a cooperative team.
