Gift Manager

The appointment will be full time on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,056 - £41,163 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

We are building an exceptional team of ambitious, creative and passionate individuals to work together to do something remarkable.    As a Gift Manager you will build and maintain crucial relationships with UCL colleagues, including faculty management teams, central finance and research services, to ensure gifts to UCL are processed efficiently and in line with donors’ wishes. Working with colleagues to develop and improve the donation management process and to ensure the full suite of services provided by the Gift Services team is widely understood and utilised across UCL, with the aim of maximising philanthropic income.

With a passion for customer service, you will have a proven background of proactively managing a key service in a customer-focussed team, and demonstrate commitment to continuous service improvement. You will have experience of using a sophisticated database to input and extract financial data, demonstrating a high level of accuracy in your work. A confident communicator, with the ability to prioritise effectively and manage challenging deadlines. You will have a sound understanding of fundraising and of different types of donations, whilst knowledge of Gift Aid and tax efficient giving is desirable.
