Our client is a faith based charity, which is bringing safe surgery to people in Africa via their floating hospital ship. Data Insight & Donor Relations Manager 
Location: Stevenage 
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours plus unpaid breaks) 
Contract: Permanent 
Salary: £29 - 34k per annum plus excellent benefits

One of their offices around the world, working on fundraising, recruitment and public relations, the UK provides over 100 specialist volunteers to crew this hospital ship and provides financial resources for surgeries, healthcare, education and local partnership -bringing immediate relief to thousands of individuals and leaving a sustainable legacy of hope and healing in every nation they visit.

They are currently seeking an experienced data professional to join them at a time of growth and opportunity to lead the data insights, donor segmentation and supporter services function of their organisation.

The main responsibilities include the management of the donor and CRM database to ensure it is up-to-date, accurate, accessible, coded and segmented effectively, making continuous improvements to ensure data is 'clean', used effectively to maximise long-term supporter contribution, has a high degree of integrity and that processes are compliant with Data Protection regulations.

The ideal candidate would have

  • Proven expertise in donor tracking databases
  • Experience of using the database to extract and present management information to inform future decisions about specific types of fundraising (e.g. long term ROI modelling, attrition reporting, income by channel/provider/region, analysis of fundraising research and appeals).
  • Advanced Excel, MS Access & SQL Skills
  • Significant experience with large datasets, segmentation and complex data selections
