An opportunity for an experience HR Business Partner to join a national charity. 

Alzheimer's Society is the UK's leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and numbers are set to rise to over 1 million by 2025. 

Position: Regional HR Business Partner (London) 
Location: Fenchurch Street, London 
Contract type: Fixed term contract ending 31/01/2018 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: £47,046 actual per annum

About the Role: 
Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading support and research charity for people with dementia, their families and carers. There are 850,000 people with dementia in the UK and numbers are set to rise to over 1 million by 2025. 

As part of the HR Business Partnering team, and as an integrated member of the leadership teams you will play a lead role in shaping and steering the plans and activities of the Central and Greater London regions and National Knowledge and Information Services team, using a strong coaching and influencing style to ensure and enable alignment to the Society’s plans and activities, utilising the expertise of your specialist POD colleagues. You will also manage a team of high performing HR Advisors. 
You will work with the management teams to develop and deliver an annual operating plan for the areas you work with, including an associated people plan and influencing an supporting the development and implementation of robust performance monitoring processes, responding creatively to changing organisational needs, and embedding a culture of performance management. We will also expect you to champion equality and inclusion. 

About You: 
Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will be CIPD qualified or have significant experience in a people and organisational development role. You will be an exemplar in building and maintaining effective working relationships with the credibility to influence change and decisions at senior levels. Your proven ability to provide advice on employment issues within a multi-site organisation must be supported by a good knowledge of employment law and best practice in HR policies, principles and procedures. A highly effective people manager, you will have experience of identifying and acting on opportunities for collaborative working. First-class communication, analytical and organisational skills are of course essential. Add to that the credibility, passion and resilience to achieve results in a rapidly developing environment, and you will quickly become an indispensable member of our team.
