Senior Fundraiser- Digital Marketing

We are pleased to be working with one of the largest children's charities, as they recruit a Digital Marketing Senior Fundraiser within their Individual Giving team. The right candidate will be responsible for maximising income from supporters, providing digital expertise and have a focus of growing and improving the effectiveness of digital activity campaigns. You will pro-actively take ownership of projects and drive results and have a personal commitment to ending cruelty to children.

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist the Senior Fundraising Manager with the budgeting and forecasting of Acquisition marketing expenditure and income. Contribute to the development of the strategy for acquiring new donors and supporters. Devise, agree and deliver particular aspects of the Individual Giving department s annual business plan and budget.

2. Development and implementation of effective donor recruitment campaigns. Integration of digital marketing whenever relevant, as the lead channel or as a supporting channel in wider marketing campaigns. Manage a range of digital channels, including PPC, display, email, affiliates and social media.

3. Manage campaign budgets, monitoring, reporting and take action to manage any variances. Responsible for the recruitment of and delivery of income from those channels and donor recruitment activities you manage.

4. Conduct campaign analysis, evaluation and report results and recommendations, including digital marketing activity and wider campaigns.

5. Manage and develop one Fundraiser, including recruitment, training, development and performance in line with the charity s policies and practice.

6. Provide digital expertise to the Individual Giving team, advising on how digital can increase the effectiveness of campaigns.

Knowledge and experience:

1. Substantial experience of success in a customer focussed environment, such as fundraising, sales or marketing.

2. Substantial experience of success in developing, delivering and monitoring strategies and plans.

3. Experience of using Windows-based software packages, including word processing, spreadsheets, electronic mail and the internet.

4. Detailed experience of developing, implementing and controlling substantial digital activity and campaigns across a wide range of digital media.
