Senior Marketing Executive
A great opportunity has arisen for a Senior Marketing Executive for a health related membership charity based in London. This will be a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Under the direction of the Marketing Manager, working collaboratively with relevant staff throughout the to develop and implement marketing plans which promote, its products and its services, including: undertaking situation analysis (including competitor products/services), devising marketing objectives and strategies, and marketing plans (including digital).
Within designated portfolios of work, regularly review products/services to ensure they always provide relevance and value for members/customers and recommend developments, including any pricing issues, channels to market and competition.
Undertake market research to support marketing planning activity. This includes identifying appropriate market research agencies, developing the brief to the agency, analysing and presenting findings, and integrating into marketing planning activity.
Support designated regions/countries to recruit and retain members through local market analysis and marketing planning based upon the agreed national marketing strategy. The SME will develop action plans and review progress at regular meetings and assist the Marketing Manager with annual target setting.
Work with Communications colleagues to select appropriate channels for marketing activity. Brief Communications colleagues to commission and brief designers and copywriters to develop marketing collateral to fulfil marketing plans.
Represent the Marketing team at internal/external business meetings to provide advice on marketing practice, help stakeholders meet objectives and present results of marketing activity.
In order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:
Significant marketing experience at middle to senior level including experience of market research, strategy and planning
Experience and understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics
Development and delivery of marketing strategies, objectives and plans
Experience of managing business processes, e.g. project management; risk management; operational planning and budget setting
Ability to act on own initiative and make decisions as appropriate
Ability to adapt style of communication across a variety of stakeholders at all levels of an organisation
Develop and deliver market research, qualitative and quantitative to inform marketing strategies and tactics
Developing detailed/creative design briefs for internal and external design agencies that align with defined objectives
Analytical skills to assess information and situations in order to achieve an appropriate solution/approach.
