Malaria No More UK is a leading voice in a global malaria campaign that has seen malaria deaths fall by 60% since 2000. Our advocacy has been instrumental in securing UK political and financial leadership in the malaria fight. But more is needed, with a child still dying from malaria every two minutes. The hard won progress of recent years is in jeopardy if we don’t secure the resources needed to sustain and accelerate action now. Securing sustained UK support will be vital to global efforts to accelerate progress and end malaria for good.
We’re looking for an Advocacy Assistant with a keen interest in successfully effecting change to join our advocacy team and help implement our advocacy strategies. You will join a high-achieving organisation of 16 people. Working to support primarily our UK Advocacy and Policy functions, you will help us cultivate a new generation of malaria champions, and push malaria up the political agenda. This newly created role will work on increasing our visibility, and the resonance of our case within and beyond Westminster.
A great opportunity for somebody enjoys a challenge, is a confident communicator and is adept at working in a small and dynamic team bringing a broad range of influencers to one of the greatest causes of the 21st century.
