Partner Investment Manager - Credit and Lending

Our client, a fast-paced and ambitious international development organisation pioneering the creation of housing opportunities in developing communities is looking for a Partner Investment Manager to plan and manage a portfolio of lending for end user loans and micro mortgages across Asia and Africa.
The post holder will plan and manage investments in partner organisations and will assist them with their credit and lending project design modelling and portfolio development. They will play a pivotal role in a variety of ways including loan management development, affordability assessment, interest setting, reporting and risk planning. They will work alongside local partners to asses and develop skills and capacity, oversee the quality of project proposals and offer broader capacity building expertise across partner organisations. A key part of the post is to monitor programmatic and investment performance, including analysis and reporting at Board, Investor and Executive level. Oversight of the operational infrastructure supporting the project delivery is also an important facet of the role.
The right candidate will possess consolidated experience in a relevant sector such as developing loan products, mortgage lending, and microfinance or property development. With a proven track record of organisational development and exemplary understanding of physical development and the built environment sector, they will be capable of designing innovative and applicable credit and lending products. They will be comfortable in the financial modelling, budgeting and monitoring space and have demonstrable relevant technical skills and using software such as Loan Performer and Temenos T24. They will possess an entrepreneurial flair and be able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders and plan projects which meet strategic outcomes. An understanding of development economies and experience of working in an international context are advantageous.
