Board of Trustees Treasurer
Our vision is to see thriving, self-reliant communities in Africa’s rural drylands. Our mission is to alleviate poverty sustainably while improving the environment.
We do this by:
- empowering poor families, and especially women, to unlock the potential from trees to meet their basic needs and generate income
- by raising awareness of the power of trees to transform lives and
- influencing policy makers and legislators to protect community rights over trees and preserve them for the benefit of all.
Our Chair and Treasurer will step down in 2017 after six years of outstanding and dedicated leadership, having completed their respective terms of office. With an excellent Chief Executive and committed staff teams based in Bristol, West Africa and Ethiopia, TREE AID is entering the next exciting phase of its strategy.
The charity is looking for two exceptional people with the vision and skills to grow an adaptive, innovative and globally recognised charity.
