Community and Events Marketing and Analysis Manager

Harris Hill are working with a cancer charity who focus on groundbreaking research, to recruit a Community and Events Marketing and Analysis Manager. The role sits within the Community and Events department and will see the candidate contributing to the team target of over 5.9m in funds. The main purpose of this role will be to recruit and convert the best possible Community and Events supporters to help the charity maximise net income from both these areas.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • To lead the marketing campaigns for all major Challenge Events.
  • To deliver Community marketing activities, including local level promotion of events and activities.
  • Responsible for the conversion of Challenge Event enquiries, maximising the potential for income generation from these supporters
  • Management of the Welcoming processes for incoming Community supporters, taking a personal relationship management approach.
  • Cross-departmental work with to deliver engaging, on-brand and appropriate fundraising materials.
  • Managing a team of 3 providing development opportunities, clear objectives and direction
  • In charge of Reporting and Analysis for the department ensuring your reports contain accurate information and are circulated appropriately. 

Skills and Experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience of devising, implementing and evaluating successful digital and social media marketing campaigns for fundraising events
  • Good working knowledge of the Community and Events fundraising market strong skills in engaging community and events audiences to deliver net income growth.
  • Understanding of conversion best practice and relationship fundraising approaches
  • Project management experience ideally in a fundraising capacity
  • Relationship building skills with staff and supporters, working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes.
  • Budgeting skills, strong analytical ability and database management skills.
