Business Development Manager
Harris Hill are pleased to be working with this commercially focused healthcare charity looking to bring a new Business Development Manager into their team.
This role would be the ideal for a commercial sales person looking to move into the third sector. The aim of this position is to generate income through development of commercial relationships in order to generate income from advertising and event sponsorship.
Key responsibilities within this role include;
+ Prospect researching, initiating and developing relationships with new commercial partners.
+ Develop and implement our business plan, working within budget, in order to achieve and exceed income targets
+ Create innovative packages and pricing structures and produce marketing materials to sell these packages
+ Write and produce captivating sponsorship proposals and presentations
+ Maintain fruitful relationships with existing partners and supporters
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
+ Working in a business development role, working within budget and achieving or exceeding agreed income targets.
+ Experience of working within conference or exhibition sales, or securing advertising income
+ An understanding of marketing and PR techniques, including online marketing and advertising would be beneficial
+ Excellent presentation skills, and the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with a range of audiences in a vriety of mediums
+ An interest and understanding of working in the voluntary sector
