With more than 500 volunteers clocking up more than 6,500 days service for the National Park, their contribution significantly boosts our ability to serve the needs of our customers.
If you have every fancied heading up this vital service now is your chance. The volunteer service has an amazing history spanning 60 years of looking after the Lake District. It’s reputation is exemplary and attracts extraordinary people with a wealth of skills seeking an opportunity to give back to this special place. Our work means we rub shoulders with some national giants in the conservation world, such as the National Trust and RSPB, as well as working across our visitor services and helping to support an array of pioneering festivals.
A 12-month fixed-term contract is on offer for a commercial aware, results-driven person, with the ability to progress our volunteers strategy, be skilled at influencing and be a passionate, committed individual. We need a leader. Are you up to the challenge?
