Are you passionate about the rights of women and girls, with a track record for delivering high profile mass engagement campaigns? Then this role as Head of Campaigns for ActionAid UK is for you.

ActionAid UK is a value driven, forward thinking organisation, focused on achieving long-term and sustainable change in the lives women and girls living in the poorest parts of the world.  This is a fantastic opportunity to play a strategic role in shaping the success of a major international NGO.

In this leadership role you will be expected to develop collaborative relationships with your peers in ActionAid UK, and across the global federation, co-creating campaigns with our southern partners. Goal orientated, you will develop our campaigning programme focussing on broadening our public engagement and growing our constituency of support.

You will be a strong leader with excellent management skills, with the ability to drive planning, budgeting and monitoring/evaluation processes to ensure we meet organisational objectives.

You will be able to identify opportunities for strong campaigns aligned to our UK mission. You will have experience of developing strategic communications a deep understanding of the news agenda and an ability to embrace digital technologies to engage people at scale.

A good project manager, you will be effective at building high performing teams. You must have outstanding communication, presentation and influencing skills too. Critically you are comfortable converting complicated policy issues into engaging public communications.
