Our client is a family orientated preparatory school with strong boarding, positioned in the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside. Children go to them from the surrounding area and some from further afield.  They prepare their children for entry into leading independent senior schools including Oundle, Uppingham, Rugby, Stowe, Marlborough, Berkhamsted, Harrow and Bedford in recent years.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking and energetic Deputy Head - Pastoral to play a central role in the leadership and continuing development of the school.  

The Deputy Head - Pastoral will lead the Pastoral Team across all ages in the school, act as Designated Safeguarding Lead, have responsibility for all pastoral and behavioural policies, help manage the day to day running of the school and, in conjunction with the Deputy Head Academic, deputise for the Headmaster.

Terms of Service

Start Date.  April or September 2017

Salary.  The School has its own salary scale.  The salary will recognise the candidate’s experience; therefore applicants are asked to give details of their current remuneration package on their application form.
