Marketing Performance Manager
Plan International UK is an independent development and humanitarian charity that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, exclusion and discrimination. And it’s girls who are most affected. Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and all vulnerable children.
Plan International UK’s Business Improvement and Innovation Unit drives innovation and improvement across all of Plan’s Public Engagement activities. This includes developing new products, initiatives and opportunities and delivering market and competitive activity analysis and supporter insight. We are recruiting a Marketing Performance Manager to equip the organisation with actionable insights and business intelligence, driving continuous improvement and profitability.
Managing a team of three, you will develop and drive new products, initiatives and opportunities and help determine and co-ordinate the Public Engagement Department’s approach to audience strategy. This will include delivering market and competitive activity analysis and supporter insight and ensuring a supporter data strategy is in place to enable analysis of supporter trends and business learning.
This key role is a unique opportunity to influence strategy across a wide programme of marketing activities, and enable Plan to reach and support more children around the world.
With significant experience of working in a direct marketing environment, and of managing a team, you will have previously used analysis and data insights to increase income and provide clear insights and recommendations that are robust enough to present at senior level. You will also enjoy pushing boundaries, and have ambitions of taking your ideas to a new level, challenging what’s possible in the charity and marketing sectors.
We will need all applications by 9am on Wednesday 26 October 2016. Interviews will be held on Monday 7/Tuesday 8 November 2016.
