Salary: £27,642 per annum, plus excellent benefits
Contract: Permanent, working 35 hours per week
We currently have vacancies in our Advocacy and Communications team for a talented Stakeholder Relations Officer and Media Relations Officer.
You’ll use your experience of developing and delivering effective stakeholder relations and public affairs campaigns, audience mapping and your peer network with key external stakeholders to help achieve the ambitions and objectives of our advocacy and communications national strategy.
You will be working with the Head of Media and Stakeholder Relations and Communications Manager, Public Affairs, to develop materials and content to engage with key stakeholders. You will be monitoring for issues affecting the organisation and the sector and keep your colleagues informed of developments. You will be working alongside other colleagues in the Advocacy & Communications team on events and in the use of evaluation and measurement of stakeholder engagement.
You’ll use your experience of print, online, broadcast, trade and social media to achieve the ambitions and objectives of our advocacy and communications national strategy.
You will be researching, creating and distributing press releases and other press content, including digital materials and handling media calls and issues. You will be monitoring the media for issues affecting the organisation and our sector and keep your colleagues informed of breaking stories and developments. You will be working alongside colleagues in our digital team to promote media stories and campaigns, as well as writing content for the web and across Arts Council England’s social media networks.
