Battersea is seeking to build on the success of its fundraising, diversify income streams and accelerate its investment across the fundraising mix in order to deliver an income of over £30m by 2020. To facilitate this ambitious growth plan Battersea are investing in twelve new fundraising positions, across all fundraising disciplines.
We are currently searching for a Direct Marketing Manager (Challenge & Community) to lead on proactively marketing mass participation and community events. Working across acquisition and retention, the Direct Marketing Manager (Challenge & Community) will use effective marketing strategies (including outdoor, digital, press and direct mail) to drive the growth of participant and supporter numbers. Developing and managing their own programme, the Direct Marketing Manager (Challenge & Community) will be responsible for handling budgets, forecasts and performance. This is a particularly exciting time for the home as they are about to launch Muddy Dog, the UK's first combined human and canine challenge event.
The successful Direct Marketing Manager (Challenge & Community) will be an experienced direct marketer, and will have a good understanding of challenge and community fundraising.
