East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) supports families and cares for children and young people with life threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.

Circa £26,000 per annum
EACH has ambitions to expand its current donor portfolio, increase volunteer numbers and grow its region-wide income so that we may continue our work in delivering care and support to life threatened children and their families. In addition to revenue targets we currently have a capital appeal to build a new £10m hospice in East Anglia – The Nook. In order to achieve these ambitions EACH is investing in its fundraising structure with the creation of new specialist teams to deliver more effective partnerships for greater impact and influence. The Major Donor Fundraiser will work closely with the Corporate & Supporter Development Manager to develop, implement and deliver EACH’s major donor fundraising strategy and effectively steward all major donors, developing and utilising bespoke engagement tools to encourage long term, integrated relationships.
The successful candidate will build excellent relationships across the organisation and work collaboratively in support of fundraising and awareness initiatives. They will develop high quality proposals, presentations and reports for prospective and current funders, and work closely with colleagues in our Care and Finance teams to present a compelling case for support.
You will have direct experience of working within fundraising, and proven success in securing Major Donor income and meeting financial targets. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional presentations and inspire a range of audiences. You must be highly organised and have the ability to prioritise in a busy work environment
A current driving licence and own car are essential for this role.
