Our client is a registered charity delivering specialist and innovative domestic abuse services, proud to be considered a pioneer and leader within their field across the North Staffordshire area.  Their holistic approach supporting children, young people or adults; victims/survivors or perpetrators is done in a confidential, non-judgemental and flexible way.
They are currently recruiting for a Domestic Violence Project Worker who will be a point of contact for male victim/survivors of domestic abuse - identifying and assessing their risks and needs, providing individual practical and emotional support and developing and delivering support groups.
The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the issues relating to male victims, including the barriers to them accessing support, and experience of working within a range of service provision options. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate with a range of audiences.
Previous experience of monitoring and evaluating projects using statistical information and completing risk assessments and support plans is essential.
Please note, due to the nature of this role you are required to hold a full clean driving licence and have access to a vehicle for work purposes.
