Our client is a leading service provider supporting people with Learning Disabilities, are seeking an experienced & driven Bid Manager/Business Development Lead to deliver their ambitious growth plans. 

Working closely with the management team, this senior position will play a key role in identifying potential growth opportunities and successfully implementing the Business Development strategy. You will lead a team to develop new business through high quality tenders, strengthening partnerships and building strong relationships with local authorities and key stakeholders. Additionally, you will network extensively within the sector exploring new opportunities and develop and maintain intelligence on our success in securing new service opportunities.

Our client is looking for individuals with a track record of winning tenders through bids and bid writing in social care or a similar sector. You will have good knowledge of tender writing best practice, sales and marketing techniques and will have a strong understanding of relevant legislation and NHS and Local Authority funding structures. 

With strong influencing, organisational, and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate an eye for detail to produce high quality submissions. We welcome applications from people looking to work Full or Part Time and are flexible with location, however there will be a requirement to travel to our central offices in Petersfield on a regular basis.
