RAPt are one of the UK’s leading providers of drug treatment services. They deliver drug and alcohol services – in prisons and in the community – which help people move away from addiction and crime. These services provide a variety of support, including advice, counselling, group work and intensive treatment.

Over 20 years of pursuing this mission, RAPt have been successful in moving thousands of drug dependent offenders away from a lifestyle revolving around crime, and drug or alcohol dependence, and improving the health and wellbeing outcomes of service users.
RAPt currently have an opportunity for an experienced Service Manager to oversee the management and strategic planning of both prison and community services in Norfolk, Humberside and Surrey. There will also be opportunities to work in other areas such as London, Sussex and Kent.
You will be responsible for line managing a number of Service Managers, and also, in conjunction with the Director of Services, take the lead on strategic issues including contract management, service development, monitoring, and business planning.
You will work collaboratively with the Audit Manager and Head of Governance and Quality to ensure all units are compliant with Corporate Governance and CQC standards.
To be successful in this role you will hold (or be working towards) a Level 5 Management qualification, and a thorough understanding of providing drug and alcohol services, including addiction treatment programs, within a prison or community. You need to have a thorough understanding of 12-Step treatment approach and experience of managing staff in a therapeutic environment
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and will be confident in planning and managing the strategic expansion of RAPt’s contracts and area presence. You will be a professional, confident and positive individual with a supportive and flexible approach to management.
