Heart Helpline Cardiac Nurse (P/T)
Coronary heart disease is the UK's single biggest killer. For over 50 years the British Heart Foundation's (BHF) work has been central to the discoveries of vital treatments that are changing the fight against heart disease. But so many people still need our help. Join our workforce. Join our fight.
Our team of Cardiac Nurses is growing and we are looking for new members to join us and support our Heart Helpline, one of our most valued services which offers support and advise to those living with a heart condition. Last year we supported over 17,000 callers as well as those who contacted us in writing.
You'll provide high quality heart health information and support, providing professional and confident advice with the ability to explain cardiac information in a clear and simple manner, demonstrating compassion as required.
We work in an office but we still help heart patients every day, whether it is those living with cardiovascular disease or helping to prevent it in the first place. Utilising your knowledge and experience, you will provide support to hundreds of heart patients. This is an excellent opportunity to step away from a clinical environment and learn new skills to take your nursing career in a different direction.
You will be an NMC Registered Nurse with extensive experience of cardiac nursing within an acute clinical environment. You will also have extensive knowledge of the risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease and an up to date knowledge of all cardiac conditions, including relevant investigations and treatments.

Please note this role is part-time, working 9am to 5pm two days per week and is based at our Head Office in London.
