Citizens Advice Guildford help people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.

We are now recruiting for the challenging but rewarding role of Chief Officer. Reporting to the Trustees you will be responsible for the bureau and its relationships with funders, key stakeholders and agencies in Guildford. You will develop your team to be proud of delivering the Citizens Advice service in Guildford to the high standard required for client satisfaction, quality of advice, financial stability and people management.
You will show how the service helps clients find a way forward and use the knowledge and experience gained by the bureau to engage in local and national debate to improve peoples’ lives.
The position is permanent and part time (25 hours per week). The full time salary for a 37 hour week is £36,113. The part time salary for a 25 hour week is therefore £24,400.
The position is based at the Guildford bureau which is in the town centre with, unfortunately, no free parking.
