This new and unique charity delivers a six month career preparation course for 18-24 year olds that offers the opportunity to gain the experience, skills and qualifications required for employment and apprenticeship opportunities.
Young adults work with us as Trainees focusing on English, Maths and ICT Functional Skills training, undertaking a range of challenging business-led projects and collaborating with their personal Career Coach to ensure that they are fully prepared for the world of work.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead the content of this Programme within a new, robust and highly ambitious charity.
The Programme Director is responsible for the strategic and operational running of Programme, ensuring it is structured and delivered so that it can most effectively help young people from challenging backgrounds get the skills, experience and qualifications they may have missed out on at school or college.
With significant experience of working directly with excluded young people, you will have the ability to strategically develop an employability programme and successfully recruit young people onto it. Critical to your success will be your excellent people management skills, passion for making a difference to young people’s lives and your commitment to being “best in class”.
