In Birmingham alone, there are over 29,000 people living with sight loss. Losing your sight can be devastating. It can prevent you from driving and working; restrict your social interaction; cause isolation; remove your independence and lead to low self-esteem and depression. Focus Birmingham works to combat these problems by providing expert support, advice and information to anyone in the Birmingham area affected by sight loss or other disabilities. And because sight loss affects family, friends and carers, we work with them too.
