A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced bid-writer to join a unique sporting and fundraising consultancy.

This consultancy works specifically with sporting and not-for-profit organisations striving to aid the development of their business through various channels. This particular role sits within the sector-leading fundraising team and provides a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to build on previous organisational success to oversee the trusts and foundations work with multiple high profile clients.

The role is unique in that it provides an opportunity to relationship manage across a wide range of not-for-profit client sectors including schools, sports clubs, national governing bodies as well as regional and national charities. The role responsibilities primarily involve the development of high-quality successful bids to secure new income grants and the identification of new opportunities within the appropriate trusts and foundations landscape. In addition to this, the role involves the creation of fundraising strategies for specific projects and organisations as well as supporting with the provision of governance and development advice where required.

To be considered for this role you must have a proven ability to secure 5 figure grants as well as excellent written skills with demonstrable evidence of compiling compelling and persuasive funding proposals. Experience of researching trusts, foundations and statutory funders is essential, as is aptitude for numerical analysis and the interpretation of budgets.
