Job Title: Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager
Location: Andover
Salary:      £28k to £35k + company pension + car parking scheme + 25 days holiday

The Macular Society is a medium sized, national charity that has experienced considerable growth in the past decade. They have an increasing number of corporate businesses keen to become involved in their events and a flourishing community fundraising stream that has potential for further development. Both these factors have inspired a need to recruit a Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager; someone with the experience to manage existing and develop new corporate partnerships as well as developing the fundraising events strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and working within a team of ten, the successful candidate will have responsibility for growing corporate and community income.  You will supervise the Community Fundraiser and will take overall strategic responsibility for the corporate and community income streams and the development of new events for both areas.

You will lead on all Corporate Fundraising initiatives, researching potential funders, deciding on the best possible approach for Charity of the Year partnerships, sponsorship agreements, payroll giving and employee fundraising and volunteering. You will be working closely with Trustees and key supporters to make high level introductions and identify potential major donors for the major donor team. There will also be an opportunity to run and help organise donor cultivation events. You will manage the corporate and community budgets.

Interested candidates will need to have a least 2 years experience of corporate fundraising, a good understanding of CSR strategies and experience of identifying and developing Charity of the Year and other long-term strategic partnerships.

You must be comfortable working to realistic KPI’s and be a confident networker with excellent negotiation and relationship building skills.

In return you will have an opportunity to work in an inclusive, rewarding environment, where you can get to know every member of staff and clearly see the impact your work has on the organisation.

This role has huge potential and interested candidates are encouraged to apply at their earliest convenience as the Society would like to recruit to the post as soon as possible.
