Membership Recruitment Manager

Background to the role

We are looking for an outstanding candidate to join the membership team of the Royal Statistical Society, one of the world’s leading organisations to promote the importance of statistics, data and evidence for decision making.  Members are at the heart of the Society and form an active community of producers and users of statistics, working together to promote the role that statistics and data analysis play in society.

Working as part of a friendly and professional team, you will play a vital role in implementing the membership marketing and recruitment strategies.  You will be instrumental in developing and supporting a network of volunteer ambassadors who will work with you to promote the Society and actively recruit new members.

We have an ambitious growth strategy and you will play a major role in contributing to both membership recruitment and income targets.

You will be a self-motivated individual who is highly organised and has a sharp eye for detail.  You will use your marketing/sales and communications experience to develop and deliver campaigns.  Being able to work on your own is essential whilst harnessing the knowledge of colleagues and volunteers and collaborating with them.
