Assistant Store Manager

We’re looking for someone to join our award-winning retail division, we’re the largest and most successful charity retailer in the country, with over 560 fashion stores, 175 furniture and electrical stores delivering a vital profit of over £34m a year. We have 3,300 staff and over 25,000 volunteers across the BHF serving 17 million customers a year. Our furniture & electrical stores have had 5.5 million visits in the last year alone.
Reporting into the Store Manager, you’ll be an experienced retailer who wants to use all your retail skills in a very fast moving environment and to know that your contribution will make a lifesaving difference.
The role is critical to assisting the management team in running an efficient store, so you’ll be commercially aware, driven, well organised, and hands on. You`ll also have the passion and leadership skills to motivate a team of staff and volunteers in order to maximise income.
