Fundraising Assistant 

An opportunity to provide administrative support to a leading national charity’s Fundraising team.

Location: Whitefriars, Bristol, BS1 2NT

Are you a positive, friendly Administrator looking to join a dynamic successful Fundraising Team?

It’s about helping people to have the kind of life we might want for ourselves, or for their loved ones. This is what they do. And this is why they need you to join their Fundraising Team. 

You’ll be playing a key operational role in the Community Fundraising Supporter Care Team (CFSC) and implementing the strategic plan. 

You will also provide excellent support to existing and potential supporters, ensuring every contact is a positive and informative experience, in order to maximise fundraising income for our client. 

Full training will be provided within the role. 

About You: 
To be successful in this role, you will have previous administration / clerical experience, coupled with numeracy and literacy skills, with ability to compose letters to internal and external customers. 

You will be able to multi task whilst under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise tasks. Experience of, and competence in using a database and data inputting is important. Previous experience of using computer packages such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and being confident in using Raiser’s Edge database is vital. You will also be willing to learn how to use further IT packages as required. 

In addition you will have strong communication skills in person, on the telephone and in writing. You will have the ability to travel in England with occasional overnight stays, either to attend training courses or meetings. You may also be required to work outside the “normal” working week and be flexible about working hours. 

Ideally you will have experience of working in the charity sector or in customer services. 

You may have experience of the following: Administrator, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, Team Administrator, Administrative Support, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Clerical, Raiser’s Edge, Customer Service, Fundraising, Admin Exec, Office Administrator etc.
