Head of Learning and Participation
A small award winning music charity are looking to recruit a Head of Learning and Participation on a permanent basis paying £30-33k.
This is a new role for the organisation to take the lead and be creative on managing the learning programmes within the organisation. There is an excellent benefits package including 38 days holiday+ bank holidays.
The Learning & Participation team is responsible for the development of the core music education programme for 11-25 years old. Line managing a dynamic team of part-time
operational staff, music leaders and volunteers, you will be responsible for developing and deliver the weekly core Young Artist/Emerging Artist Development Programme and overseeing the delivery of the Arts Award. You will also contribute to funding bids and business plans, fulfilling all monitoring and evaluation requirements.
To be successful in the role you will have demonstrable experience of devising, delivering and managing a varied programme of high quality small-/large-scale educational and participatory activity with young people, adults and professional artists. A minimum three years’ relevant experience in a management role in an arts or music education organisation, and a passion for music.
