Timebanking Network Project Manager

Our client provides a way of building stronger communities and restoring a sense of good neighbourliness. It is a rewarding and enjoyable way to bring people together to share their skills and support each other by using time as a currency. Time banks have been shown to provide tangible improvements to both community health and to individual health and well-being.
Our client is working with Hampshire County Council and Carers Together to develop a timebanking network across the county.
Hours: 2.5 days per week
Salary: £28,000 FTE
Contract: 1 year
The successful applicant will work with existing partners and stakeholders to implement and develop the Time Banks. They will be responsible for the operational management of the time banks and help facilitate member exchanges. They will also engage and develop relationships with new partners and local statutory bodies, working to the principles of co-production to ensure sustainability.
Each time bank will be co-designed and co-produced with time bank members, volunteers, stakeholders and key partners, using the resources, training packages and software provided by our client as part of this project.
Having an empathy with the core values of time banking, the successful applicant will be a creative thinker with resilience, emotional intelligence, the ability to engage people from different backgrounds, have excellent communication skills and administrative skills. The person will have experience of setting up and working within projects and systems and of working with community groups.
