About the Role: 

The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative and participative support to the Quality and Policy section of this organisation, including quality assurance and performance monitoring. You will ensure the Quality and Policy Practitioner receives appropriate information and advice on all relevant matters. 

You will support the Quality and Policy Practitioner to co-ordinate, maintain and monitor the Quality Assurance Management System, and undertake data collation and critical analysis of performance to identify key trends and outcomes. 

About you: 

The post-holder will possess a relevant QCF level 3 qualification or equivalent, and have experience of developing or contributing to policy development. You should have experience of quality systems, and it is desirable that you have previously worked the social care sector. 

Good verbal communication skills are vital, as are excellent literacy skills and the ability to develop and present clear and concise reports. IT skills including word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, windows based information systems, and internet are vital to this role. The ability to understand and interpret complex information including legislation, statistical and financial data to identify issues and recommend solutions is also necessary. 

The ideal candidate will be able to work to set deadlines, prioritise their workload and work effectively under pressure. You will also possess the skills to effectively build relationships and network with people at all levels. 

You will be required to travel to different parts of the organisation and spend nights away from home. 

You may have experience of the following: Quality and Policy Officer, Charity, Charities, Quality Assurance, Third Sector, Social Care, Policy Officer, Learning Disabilities etc.
