We are looking for an energetic, innovative Corporate and Events Fundraising Manager for an inspiring social welfare charity, this is a brand new role where you can make your mark and shape the strategy going forward.

The Company
An inspiring supportive social welfare charity providing crucial Nationwide support to disabled communities.

The Role
The brand new role has two key components The first is the development and implementation of a corporate fundraising strategy and the second is to provide strategic support to the events income stream by targeting the (primarily challenge based) events at corporate partnership teams.
To write and deliver a corporate fundraising strategy ensuring that existing relationships are managed, new partnerships are developed and income generating opportunities are maximised.
To provide strategic input into the events programme by ensuring that events are operationally targeted towards corporate partnerships.

The Candidate
Significant proven experience gained within an income generating environment, with demonstrable experience of working within corporate fundraising and a good knowledge of events fundraising mechanics.

Proven experience of building an income stream, including developing a supporter/client base, managing multiple relationships and stewarding relationships appropriately.
Significant account management experience i.e. the ability to manage and prioritise a number of relationships, working to deadlines and agreed targets.
Demonstrate experience of timely engagement with stakeholders of all levels and abilities.
Possess a good track record of achieving fundraising/sales targets.
Demonstrate understanding and empathy with people who face challenges from disabilities
Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, plan, prioritise and work under pressure.
An excellent communicator, with strong presentation skills and the ability to network, influence and negotiate with a wide range of people.
