This is an excellent opportunity to join a Bristol-based charity, which provides support to people with learning disabilities, as their new Major Gifts Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for continuing work to develop and manage a successful major gifts fundraising programme.

You will work closely with the head of the division to identify and engage with high net worth individuals (HNWIs) to generate funds to support the charity's vital work with people with learning disabilities. You will develop productive relationships with these individuals, achieve income targets, and meet agreed key performance indicators.

You will build on existing networks of HNWIs and develop new relationships, lead on the identification of new prospects and develop cultivation plans to successfully engage them with the charity. You will then manage relationships through the whole stewardship cycle, involving charity Directors, Trustees, Patrons and other key influencers as appropriate.

In order to be considered for this role, you will have demonstrable experience of developing and growing a Major Donor fundraising programme (or equivalent, and be prepared to travel as required by the role. The charity is headquartered in Bristol, but flexible working will be considered - please call to discuss this in more detail if appropriate.
