My client are well established membership organisation based in Aldershot, Hampshire.

They are looking for a PR/COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER to come and join their team to really aid and develop the PR, Media Relations and communications of the organisation.

You will be confident in knowing how to deal with Media and different Media enquiries and questions in a profession and effective manner.


Description

Your role will include but not be limited to:

* Coordinating content for the organisation on a structured and timely basis; to include developing and contributing original content, developing content from other departments/sources and liaising closely with the editor and, where appropriate, the designer

* Development of a strategic plan for the organisations PR/internal and external communications and ensuring this is delivered and kept under constant analysis

* Developing stronger relationships and effective lines of communication with a wide range of external stakeholders, partners, organisations and agencies

* Coordinating, creating and managing targeted PR activities for the organisation via press releases, social media, the corporate and consumer facing websites and other relevant channels

* Compiling and delivering member e-bulletins to ensure timely delivery of news, updates and activities and items of general interest to members

Profile

ABOUT YOU:

The PR/COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER will have to have a background of PR/internal and external communications. My client are looking for Someone who has the ability to manage and develop corporate and consumer facing websites ensuring that all online content is current, easily accessible and updated on a regular basis.

You will know how to act as a Media Spokesperson and be able to brief senior staff on media issues as required. As a company ambassador you will understand how to deal with situations in an effective manner, be able to work to strict deadlines and be a communications specialist just as well as have experience in PR and Media Relations.
