Major Gifts Fundraiser
Salary: £52,500 per annum (£21,000 pro rata)
Hours: 16 hours per week (FLEXIBLE working hours/days to be mutually agreed)
Holidays: 25 days + Bank Holidays per year (pro rata)
Responsible to: fuelbanks and families’ CEO
Location: fuelbanks and families Offices at 108 Battersea High Street, London, SW11 3HP

About this new role
This is a new role that aims to strengthen and ensure the sustainability of FBAF, by diversifying its pool of donors. You will work closely with the Board of Trustees and CEO to develop a major gifts fundraising strategy and implement it. In doing so you will build on existing relationship with donors, as well as cultivate new ones. The split of work across income streams is flexible, and will depend on the experience and skills of the successful candidate.
The candidate will have a high level of responsibility and the space to innovate and shape this exciting role.
There will be a level of flexibility around the structure of the 16 hours per week. Once agreed upon this structure cannot be changed. This will be discussed in further detail at interview stage.
Key objectives for the role
- To meet an agreed annual fundraising target from charitable trusts, foundations and major donors
- Develop and implement a major gifts fundraising strategy
- To cultivate and steward relationships with high net worth individuals and trustees of charitable trusts to generate major gifts for FBAF
- Develop a Patron Charter which includes local organisations
