A leading children's charity is looking for a Senior Donor Acquisition Officer to join their team. This role is a one year maternity cover. The role can be based in either Watford or central London, and includes an inner London weighting of £3333, if based in London, increasing the salary range to 31,574- 35,534. The position also has the option of flexible working allowing one day a week from home.

Key Responsibilities will include:


-Project manage the planning and execution of campaigns and testing strategies for assigned acquisition campaigns across multi-channels (cold direct mail, inserts, press advertising, online/digital, mobile giving, DRTV, telemarketing and face 2 face fundraising) and multi-audiences.

-Project manage the planning and execution of donor retention and development campaigns for first 6 months of new donor support for all assigned channels to maximise future support

-Monitor and report income and expenditure for assigned channels/campaigns, ensuring applying financial processing


In Order to apply you should have the following skills and experience:


-Proven ability of managing large and varied direct marketing campaigns, including DRTV, digital (google ad words/banners), online display advertising, telemarketing, face 2 face, press advertising inserts and door drops, mobile giving premium and RG SMS).

-Experience of working in fundraising, marketing communications, ideally in the not for profit sector.

-Demonstrate experience of managing donor relationships.

-Experience of briefing and co-ordinating the creative and production processes of a direct marketing project.

-Experience of using marketing databases.
