Are you a community fundraising expert with a passion for animal welfare? Prospectus are proud to be partnering exclusively with Wood Green, to appoint their new Senior Community Fundraising Executive. Since their establishment in North London in 1924, Wood Green has risen to become one of the UK's leading animal welfare and public education charities, and their vision of a world where all pets are cared for in loving homes for life, is delivered through their services, projects and public engagement programmes. Over the next 5 years Wood Green aims to significantly increase the number of animals rehomed and effect a big change in public engagement. To achieve these exciting objectives a new fundraising strategy has been developed, and the Senior Community Fundraising Executive plays a crucial part in this.
The Senior Community Fundraising Executive will work with the Corporate and Community Fundraising Manager to develop a leading community and events fundraising programme, growing and nurturing volunteer-based fundraising in Wood Green's core community regions of Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and North London. The Senior Community Fundraising Executive will implement an engaging programme of community and events fundraising activity aiming to maximise long term income from volunteers, fundraising groups, community organisations (such as Rotary clubs), schools, students, employees and through challenges and other events. The Senior Community Fundraising Executive will also review outcomes and performance against objectives and develop and monitor an annual plans and budget for community and events.
The successful Senior Community Fundraising Executive will have prior experience of community fundraising, and a sound appreciation of how digital platforms can be utilised to enhance this area of fundraising.
