An opportunity has arisen for a Legacy and In Memoriam Fundraiser to join one of the UK's leading charities supporting the needs of individuals and families from the armed forces.

Based in London this role is responsible for development and implementation of the legacy marketing and fundraising strategy.

Key responsibilities
- Implement and revise the legacy strategy to ensure it is meeting the needs of the organisation
- With the Legacy Administration Manager produce robust legacy income forecasts on a quarterly basis
- Develop a communication programme for legacy pledgers, legacy enquirers and intenders
- Develop an In Memoriam programme using online and offline methods to ensure this source of income is maximised
- Offer an online tribute system for friends and families to remember a loved one and to raise funds for the charity
- Develop income and expenditure budgets for Legacy Marketing and In Memoriam giving and ensure proper management, reporting and reforecasting of budgets as appropriate

Experience and skills required
- Proven track record of marketing and income generation within a legacy and/or in memoriam fundraising function
- Knowledge and experience of event management would also be very advantageous
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with wider team members and potential legacy pledgers
- Strong budgetary and financial skills
